The Miss Earth has gained great momentum over the past few years. Now in its 9th year, it has seen tremendous speed in its growth and popularity. International pageants are no longer focusing solely on the appearance and glamour of the finalists. This event was created to ensure the role of young women in the global crisis that we are faced with, the destruction of Mother Earth. It has created an incredible platform for awareness in over 120 countries that participate.
With extensive programmes and the encouragement of awareness across the earth, the International Miss Earth is a pageant of stature and style.
Based in the Philippines, finalists from around the world are always given a warm welcome from the hospitable and passionate nation who host them for 4 weeks at the end of each year for the crowning of the prestigious Miss Earth. |
