Somewhere deep inside us, a seed is born, it grows and blossoms, twists and turns, it may flower and multiply or it may be a passing memory. It started with a young woman, and flourished into a sustainable initiative. It aimed to empower young women to believe in their power as women, as individuals and as proud South Africans. It sought to feed the minds of children, developing green vision and healthy lifestyles, creating memories and making a difference to each individual. The belief was that each person that contributes makes a difference, regardless of how much or how little.
This vision transcends boundaries, barriers and limitations. Miss Earth South Africa represents sustainability, awareness, a better environment for tomorrow. The belief that “I am the difference.”
